This side table with floral ornaments, made by an unknown Viennese workshop, dates from around 1900. Floral motifs and ornaments were primarily carved in wood during the heyday of Art Nouveau between 1890 and 1910. In furniture making of this period, this pronounced phase began around 1895.
Otherwise, the delicate side table fits into the geometric, clear design language of Art Nouveau.
