A magnificent, large photo frame—a rare and authentic Art Deco piece. The base is crafted from pink-tinted marble and features a stylized greyhound figure made of a copper-plated zinc alloy. It includes the original glass with a mirrored border; likely of Belgian or French origin, dating to the 1930s.
A particularly rare feature is the presence of the original removable photo frame insert with its etched mirrored border; this frame can be taken out of the holder and displayed independently.
The frame is in very good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age and use consistent with its history—such as tiny nicks along the glass edge and slight marks on the marble edges—yet it remains a stunning piece. Please see the photos for further details.
