Vintage minty of oxford sectional stacking bookcase | 1950s–1960s | oak | british mid-century design a wonderful mid-century vintage sectional stacking bookcase by minty of oxford, dating from around the 1950s–1960s, beautifully combining classic british craftsmanship with an exceptionally practical modular design. The bookcase is constructed from a series of separate wooden sections that stack securely on top of one another. This clever sectional construction means the individual modules can be rearranged, separated or taken apart, allowing the piece to be adapted to different rooms and storage requirements. The upper sections feature elegant sliding glass doors, providing the perfect display space for books, ceramics, glassware, collectables or treasured decorative objects, while keeping everything protected from dust. The lower section forms a substantial closed wooden cabinet with double doors, offering generous concealed storage for larger items that you may prefer to keep neatly out of sight. Beautifully made from oak, the bookcase has a wonderfully warm, polished grain that gives the piece a rich and timeless appearance. The natural character of the oak works beautifully with the clean, understated lines of the design, creating that unmistakable mid-century british aesthetic. About minty of oxford minty of oxford was one of britain's most respected names in traditional bookcase furniture.
