Handblown in … Read more This Murano glass decanter was designed by Maurizio Albarelli for Cenedese & Albarelli in Murano, Italy, circa 1970s. Handblown in mint green glass, the vessel has a flattened circular body rising to a narrow cylindrical neck, combining a simple sculptural profile with softly articulated surface detail. Subtle optic ribs meander upward and around the body, creating gentle variations in the glass as the decanter is viewed from different angles. The removable stopper provides a contrasting decorative accent, formed with a larger ribbed orb enriched with gold polveri and crowned by a smaller pink glass sphere. Its combination of mint green, gold, and pink gives the otherwise restrained form a distinctive Murano character. The decanter retains its original Cenedese & Albarelli Murano Venezia Italy label and has a flat polished base. Very good vintage condition. One area of scraping is present on the left shoulder; please refer to the images for closer inspection. Dimensions: Height 24 cm / 9.45 in; width 15 cm / 5.91 in; depth 6 cm / 2.36 in. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
