French Art Nouveau inkstand dating to circa 1900, made from bronze-toned metal with two glass inkwells. Trailing ivy leaves and vines form an openwork surround, with gold-toned leaves contrasting against the darker metal ground.
A shallow leaf-shaped tray and a spoon-like pen rest occupy the centre. The two glass inkwells have decorative metal lids of differing designs, as pictured.
Height: 8 cm; width: 24 cm; depth: 13 cm. One inkstand with both glass inkwells.
