This mid-19th century buffet in oak and pinewood carries a quiet presence shaped by simple lines and hand-carved detail. Made in the 1850s, the cabinet stands on a scalloped base with carved fleur-de-lys motifs across the front doors and center drawer. The warm wood tones and natural grain give the piece a calm and honest feeling.
The proportions are compact while still offering generous storage behind the double doors and inside the drawers. A piece that works equally well in a farmhouse interior, a rustic home or a more minimal space needing warmth and texture. The later added handles fit naturally with the cabinet and allow easy everyday use.
Small details throughout show the handmade nature of the piece and give it its charm and character.
Later added handles and an interior metal bracket with magnet keep the doors securely closed and working well.
All pieces are reviewed in our warehouse and are celaned, treated carefully and structurally solid.
