17th Century style Spanish or German Comb Morion Helmet, possibly an 19thC theatrical piece. The two-piece steel helmet is traditional infantry form, with crested skull with upturned front and rear brim with rolled edges. Hand hammered brass lining rivets, no lining present, last photo shows some solder/welding in a possible slight repair to the interior.
Measures 12.5" height, 13" width. Unpackaged weight is 3 pounds.
