An elegant example of the Venetian art of glassblowing - this eiformige (ovid) vase was blown using the "canne" (cane) technique. With vertical ribbons of adventuring gold glitter, blue, yellow, red, white, and green stripes fused into clear crystal. In the style and manner of master Murano glassblower Fabio Zanchi. Unsigned and not marked Murano - our experience indicates that there is no doubt that this piece is just that. Along with provenance from the original owner. Who was given this vase by her Mother post a trip to Venice and the Island of Murano in the 1990's.
Measures 5" diameter x 9" high.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, clouding, etching, scratches, or issues of not. Original pontil still intact and unpolished. See photos for details.
