The clock is distinguished by dramatic winged gargoyle/griffin-form side mounts, ornate claw feet, and a richly detailed gilt bezel surrounding the white Roman numeral dial. The exposed center reveals part of the mechanical movement, adding to its decorative character.

The clock retains its original winding key, and the movement appears largely complete. A substantial and highly decorative statement piece, ideal for display on a mantel, console, library cabinet, or as part of an antique clock collection.

Condition:
Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The black finish shows areas of surface wear, scratches, finish loss, and age-related patina, particularly along the top and edges, as shown in the photos. Metal mounts display natural oxidation and patina.

The clock includes its original key and appears to retain its primary components; however, the mechanical movement has not been tested and I cannot confirm that the clock is currently in working condition. It is being sold as a decorative piece, as-is, with no guarantee of functionality.
