Rare, antique French genuine burl wood, large lined decorative hinged box, circa 1950's.
Magnificent representation of old French culture and history. A hand made piece with intricate and decadent pattern on the burl wood. It features red velvet lining, antique French brass hinges and trimmed in an ornate closure with subtle fleur-de-lis motif surrounding a majestic gold wreath.
Versatile and practical. This French treasure can used as a decorative piece, jewelry and keepsake box or to hold cigarettes.
Large in size: 8.25" x 8.25" x 1.75". It opens to 16.50" total length.
