Masterfully handcrafted in Spain circa 1950s. Professionally restored, rewired, and showroom-ready.

Elevate your interior architecture with this magnificent, museum-quality pair of mid-century modernist wall light fixtures. Executed in the grand French Empire and Neoclassical Revival styles with sophisticated Hollywood Regency undertones, each sconce features a breathtaking, highly sculptural solid cast brass backplate. The theatrical centerpiece depicts the beautiful, highly detailed Winged Goddess of Victory (Nike / Victoria) triumphantly wielding a spear with her long flowing hair and fluid classical robes.

The symmetrical framework features two extraordinary, beautifully sweeping arms intricately hand-chased with an exceptional geometric and floral frieze pattern, topped with ornate scalloped bobeches and elegant candle-style sleeves. The substantial brass bodies display an outstanding original golden depth, enriched by a warm historical luster and an authentic untouched vintage patina in the recessed details. Due to their mirrored layout, impressive 17.25-inch scale, and powerful artistic silhouette, these curated luxury fixtures comply perfectly with high-end residential styling. They serve as an unparalleled architectural statement pair for framing formal dining room mirrors, grand entryways, master bedrooms, or executive fireplace mantels.

MATERIALS, DESIGN AND CONDITION:

The Structure & Artisan Casting: High-quality solid brass work crafted using traditional sand-casting techniques (sand-molded casting), celebrating Spain’s centuries-old heritage of fine art foundry and metal craftsmanship. The authentic reverse side retains its beautifully textured, granulated sand-cast surface, which serves as a definitive certificate of genuine mid-century artisan provenance. The metalwork is in excellent structurally sound condition, showcasing a deep, gorgeous period-correct patina with honest signs of historical age.

Artisan Restoration & Safety: Professionally and completely restored by a specialist technician. Meticulously disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and fully rewired with brand-new, ultra-safe period-accurate internal wiring. 100% functional, structurally secure, and ready to be hardwired straight out of the box!

- US Electrical Compatibility: Fully compatible with the United States 110V-120V electrical grids (as well as 220V-240V international grids). The fixtures have been upgraded with brand-new, ultra-safe European E14 sockets hidden inside the white candle sleeves, completely eliminating any vintage electrical risks. Recommended maximum wattage is 40W per socket for traditional bulbs, or any standard LED equivalent. Please note: light bulbs are not included. For a seamless US installation, you have two easy options: either use standard E14-to-E12 brass candelabra adapters combined with standard American E12 bulbs (readily available in any local US store), or simply purchase standard E14 LED bulbs configured for 110V voltage, which are easily and widely available on Amazon. This keeps the historical integrity of this European mid-century piece perfectly intact. Ready for immediate hardwired installation!
