Foglia is a hand-blown Murano glass chandelier inspired by the timeless language of Venetian lighting.

Its name *Foglia*, Italian for “leaf” refers to the individually hand-shaped glass leaves that define the silhouette of the chandelier. Each element is made by master glassmakers in Murano, using traditional techniques and finished entirely by hand.
The chandelier combines mouth-blown Murano glass (soffiatura a bocca), the refined rigata liscia technique, hand-formed botanical elements, and, in selected colourways, 24k gold details, worked into the glass.

Rather than reproducing a specific historical model, Foglia draws from the broader tradition of Venetian chandeliers and translates it into a piece intended for contemporary interiors, while preserving the irregularity, depth and material character of genuine Murano craftsmanship.

Every chandelier is MADE TO ORDER in the selected colour and size.
The glass is mouth-blown and shaped by hand without industrial moulds.

The rigata liscia technique creates a subtle, regular ribbing across the glass surface. The ridges interact with natural and artificial light, creating variations in transparency, reflection and depth as the chandelier is viewed from different angles.
Because the glass is worked while molten, every element retains slight individual variations in shape, colour and surface. These variations are an inherent characteristic of authentic hand-blown Murano glass and are part of the identity of the piece.

HAND-BLOWN LEAVES
The signature leaves are individually hand-shaped by Murano glassmakers.
No two leaves are perfectly identical: their curves, proportions, colour distribution and interaction with light may vary slightly from one element to another.
This means that each Foglia chandelier has its own subtle character while maintaining the overall proportions and composition of the design.

24K GOLD DETAILS
Selected colourways are available with 24k gold details.
The gold is incorporated into the glass during the production process rather than simply applied as a superficial decorative coating, giving the material greater depth and a distinctive Venetian luminosity.

WHERE TO USE IT
Foglia works particularly well in interiors where lighting is treated as part of the architecture rather than simply as illumination.
The smaller configurations can be used in bedrooms, studies, intimate dining rooms and refined residential interiors.
The larger versions are suited to dining rooms, entrance halls, salons, hospitality interiors and larger architectural spaces where the chandelier can become a defining focal point.
Its botanical silhouette makes it particularly effective in interiors that combine classical Italian architecture with contemporary, eclectic or collected furnishings.
Crystal and lighter colours emphasise luminosity and transparency, while the deeper blue, green, amethyst and gold variations create a more dramatic, jewel-like presence.

MADE TO ORDER IN MURANO

Each Foglia chandelier is produced specifically for the configuration selected at the time of order.

The piece is handmade in Murano, Italy, by master glassmakers working with traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques.

Due to the nature of the process, minor variations in colour, transparency, dimensions and individual glass elements should be expected. These are not defects but evidence of the handmade production process.
