Designed in a waterfall style with reeded brass stair treads on both edges. The original decking is used on ship's to allow the water to run underneat one's feet to prevent slipping and sliding. This decking has come off a decommissioned ship dating around the 1970's - 80's and then repurposed. Designed by Deborah Lockhart Phillips.
