An extraordinary large-scale exhibition or salesman’s model of a horse-drawn Tuborg beer delivery wagon, dating to the early 20th century. Constructed from wood and metal at approximately 1:8 scale, the model displays an exceptional level of detail, including a paneled delivery body, four wood-spoked wheels, a working front axle, leaf-spring suspension, driver’s bench, roof rack, access steps, side and rear doors, and an articulated hitch assembly.
Painted advertising panels read “Tuborg Beer from Denmark” and incorporate the brewery’s crowned “TB” monogram. Additional lettering includes “Berlin N.O. Landsberger Allee 24-27,” along with painted load and weight specifications. The fitted interior contains two tiers of open wooden storage racks accompanied by six removable miniature beer barrels.
Likely created as an exhibition, trade-show, or promotional display, this impressive model offers a rare connection to European brewing and commercial advertising history. Tuborg Brewery was established in Hellerup, Denmark, in 1873 and became one of the country’s most recognized beer producers, known internationally for its distinctive branding and export advertising.

Two sections of the upper railing are missing. The driver’s bench back is completely detached, and its current placement is an estimate based on markings on the bench. The brake mechanism is not fully connected and appears to be missing linkages. All doors open. The rear doors display areas of trim loss and stick slightly; lifting the roof assists with opening and closing them. One rear hanging hook is missing. The inner right front hub component detaches from the wheel but does not affect its movement. The wagon rolls easily, and the front axle turns as intended. Fragile due to its size, age, and intricate construction. Please refer to the photographs for additional condition details. less
