A striking pair of vintage ceramic urn or ginger jar table lamps featuring an exuberant allover botanical and butterfly motif in a palette of soft pink, purple, lavender, shades of blue and green, and deep yellow against a creamy ivory ground.
The ceramic bodies are beautifully decorated with hand-painted floral arrangements, scrolling foliage, delicate blossoms, and finely rendered butterflies. The central composition features a distinctive stylized botanical or thistle-like flower and floral borders encircle the upper shoulder and lower portion of the bodies. Each is topped with a carved wood lid above a gilded rim, followed by a brass neck, harp and decorative rounded finial. They are set atop elegantly carved and turned wood bases with four small carved feet.
