An elegant Danish Art Deco pewter bud vase by celebrated designer Just Andersen (1884–1943), model 765, dating to the 1920s.
The vase features an exceptionally slender, elongated form with a gently flared opening, vertically fluted lower body, and sculptural flower-form foot. Its restrained ornamentation and beautifully balanced proportions demonstrate Andersen’s characteristic combination of geometric Art Deco design with organic, nature-inspired forms.
The naturally aged pewter surface has developed a rich, darkened patina that accentuates the fluting and sculptural details. Stamped JUST 765 to the underside, identifying the maker and model.
A particularly elegant example of early Danish decorative arts, equally striking displayed alone as a sculptural object or holding a single flower or small arrangement.
