Has what appears to be a signature on the back but it … Read more High-quality, earthy mid-century vintage studio pottery large bowl. Has what appears to be a signature on the back but it is unreadable. Gorgeous pinched handles and crackled glaze, bottom third of the outside bowl is unglazed as is the top inner rim. Earthy brown rim, inner rim unglazed, a rustic cream/beige crackle-glazed interior, and a hand-thrown form make for a beautiful bowl. Deep concentric rings (or "chatter marks") on the base are caused when a potter trims away excess wet clay on the wheel using a metal loop tool. Some artists purposefully leave these ridges prominent as their visual hallmark. Excellent condition See less
