A striking pair of vintage turned wood candle holders by Rondeau Québec, each stamped on the underside. Crafted in Québec, Canada, the pair features sculptural tapered forms, beautifully exposed wood grain, contrasting dark accents, and broad bowl-shaped candle cups.
The two candle holders differ in height, wood tone, and proportions while clearly belonging to the same design family. Their hand-turned construction and emphasis on the natural grain reflect the studio craft aesthetic that flourished in Québec and Canada during the latter half of the 20th century.
