An iconic "Paper Bag" ceramic vase designed by Canadian ceramic artist Michael Harvey for the Crinkle Craft Collection. Faithfully modeled after a crumpled brown paper grocery bag, this whimsical trompe-l'œil design captures every fold, crease, and serrated edge in glazed ceramic. Marked "Harvel Crinkle Craft Associate" on the side, the vase exemplifies Harvey's playful approach to everyday objects, transforming an ordinary paper bag into a functional work of sculptural art.
Whether displayed with fresh flowers, dried botanicals, or on its own, this piece makes a distinctive statement in postmodern, contemporary, and eclectic interiors. A celebrated Canadian design, it remains one of Michael Harvey's most recognizable creations and is highly sought after by collectors.
