An antique hand-painted polychrome faience wall plate featuring a richly decorated composition of stylized birds, flowers, foliage, and fruit.
The piece has a softly shaped scalloped edge and a vibrant hand-painted palette with blue, green, yellow, red, and violet tones. The central decoration is arranged in a balanced ornamental composition, giving the plate a strong decorative presence.
The reverse includes an older hanging attachment, indicating that the piece was intended for wall display. A painted mark or initials are also present on the underside, but the exact maker and place of origin have not been conclusively identified.

There is a small chip/loss to the glaze along the lower edge. Minor localized irregularities, wear, and age-related changes are also present on the reverse and along the side surfaces. Some of these characteristics may be related either to age and use or to the original manufacturing and firing process. Upon visual inspection, no major cracks, significant chips, or obvious signs of restoration were observed. All known condition details are shown in the photographs. less
