Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. It features fine inlaid Mythical Griffin marquetry woodwork, patterned damask upholstery, and matching bolster pillows.
Key Characteristics & Features
Marquetry Central Splat: The center of the backrest showcases detailed inlay work featuring a classical motif, flanked by stylized scrolling vines and acanthus details.
Crest Rail Inlays: The twin curved top sections of the backrest feature complementary shell medallions.
Tapered Legs: It stands on simple, elegant tapered wooden legs typical of Neoclassical revival designs and Edwardian style.

Condition
In good condition with some scratches, and a small repair on the top corner edge as shown in last photo. Fabric has foxing/spotting throughout as shown best in photo 11 and video.
