The spaces between the turned pine balusters of the armoire's gallery lend a sense of lightness to its otherwise imposing height. The turned finials at each corner of the gallery give the piece a regal quality while emphasizing its height by further directing the eye upwards. The single door features a large mirror framed by imitation bamboo. Inside the armoire are three adjustable shelves measuring 14" deep. Below the main storage compartment is a wide single drawer that opens smoothly with turned knobs and showcases "bamboo" panels that match those above the mirror and on the armoire's apron. Turned feet support the armoire and elevate it off the floor, furthering the lightness that we see in the gallery. The cabinet's lock is in working order with its accompanying key. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
