A refined Swedish Gustavian-style chest of drawers. Crafted in pine, this piece is painted in a soft blue tone, a color popular beginning with late 19th-century Scandinavian interpretations of the Gustavian tradition. The top is decorated with a painted imitation marble surface, providing an elegant contrast and visual depth.
The chest features chamfered corners accented with negative milling, adding architectural definition to the case. Each of the three drawers is framed with delicate molded detailing that runs around the perimeter, enhancing the clean, neoclassical lines.
