Standing approximately 18.25 inches tall, the substantial urn has a beautifully proportioned pear-shaped body flanked by dramatic double-scroll handles. Ornamental detailing continues throughout the piece with an elaborate finial, foliate spigot surround and a raised four-footed base embellished with scrolling acanthus motifs.
The removable burner/warming cup is retained beneath the urn, making this a particularly attractive complete presentation for display.
The highly polished silverplate creates a wonderful reflective surface and gives the piece considerable visual presence. Beautiful displayed on a dining-room sideboard, buffet, bar or serving table, whether used as vintage serveware or purely as a decorative object.
The underside bears the F.B. Rogers Silver Co. crown trademark.
