These short, rectangular tables feature distinctive curved chow legs (or scroll legs) and highly intricate, pierced, and hand-carved aprons typically depicting naturalistic elements, specifically vines and grapes/berries, which traditionally symbolize abundance and fertility in Chinese art. This table was made during the early 20th Century and placed on top of Kang (a raised, heated brick platform used to sleepting and living in Northern Chinese homes). Now, you may use them as low coffee table or decorative plant display stands.
