A monumental and exceptionally heavy vintage 1980s Česká lead crystal art glass statement vase featuring a striking geometric, post-modern architectural silhouette. Hand-crafted in Czechoslovakia, this sculptural vase is designed in a bold octagonal shape featuring 4 precise, stepped skyscraper tiers built from deep horizontal hand-cut channels, supported by a substantial multi-faceted geometric base.
Weighing an impressive 6 lbs 10 oz, the high lead content and deep facet geometry allow this vase to act as a brilliant optical prism, beautifully gathering and refracting light even when displayed empty as an autonomous structural centerpiece. The base is visibly hand-signed with the authentic acid-etched "Česká" script signature stamp.

The upper 4 stepped tiers and main body of the vase remain clean, bright, and free of cracks. There are a few tiny, superficial "flea bite" chips/impact nicks concentrated on the sharp facet edges along one side of the lower octagonal base block (see close-up photos). These are purely cosmetic, do not compromise the structural stability of the heavy glass, and are highly inconspicuous when the vase is displayed upright on a table or shelf. less
