The generously proportioned stoneware casserole features Quince’s characteristic warm speckled cream ground with a continuous fruit and botanical border of pears, pomegranates, berries, gooseberries and foliage in muted green, ochre and russet tones. The fitted lid repeats the fruit decoration and is finished with a raised oval knob.

With its generous 2.5-quart capacity, this is one of the larger and more useful covered serving pieces from the Quince collection. Designed as oven-to-table ware, it works beautifully for casseroles and side dishes while being decorative enough for display on open shelving or a kitchen hutch.
