This is a framed photographic print of the iconic 1953 black-and-white photograph "Make Up Mirror" by renowned British photojournalist Thurston Hopkins. Features Judy Dunlop, a participant in the Holiday Girl Beauty Competition, reapplying her lipstick in the King's Library at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton on August 8, 1953. The elegant young woman in a white gown kneels over a large, ornate mirror laid flat on the floor, perfectly capturing her reflection below. Originally published in Picture Post magazine during the golden age of British photojournalism.
