This elaborate multi-light chandelier features a central fluted glass column adorned with brass scrolling arms and draped crystal bead garlands. It is accented by large, dangling smokey crystal teardrop prisms, fluted drip pans, and is fitted with fabric candle shades.
This style of chandelier originates from the lavish interiors of 18th-century France, particularly associated with the Louis XV and Rococo periods. Master craftsmen in Paris and surrounding regions produced such luminous centerpieces using cast bronze, wrought iron, and hand-cut crystal to reflect candlelight in aristocratic salons. They continue to be highly sought after by interior designers and collectors for their timeless elegance and opulent ambiance.
