Crafted in Sheffield, England, by the renowned Rockingham Silver Plate & Cutlery Works of John Henry Potter (J.H. Potter), this late Victorian to Edwardian era set dates between 1884 and 1921.
The set features six dessert knives and six matching forks, beautifully styled with intricately engraved foliate motifs on the silver-plated blades and tines. Each piece is fitted with iconic, glowing butterscotch-colored ivorine (early celluloid) handles and secured with decorative metal ferrules.
True to the high standards of Sheffield production, each piece bears the maker's stamp "J.H. POTTER" alongside the prestigious "A1" mark, denoting the highest professional grade of electroplated silver for exceptional durability and luster.
