Both are in excellent condition. I created a "button" to the lid with wood an antique pressed horn cameo button after removing the old metal shank. Lightly sanded the box and added a lite coat of the same golden walnut stain. The corner had a chip which I repaired very well as seen in the photos. You can't tell it has been repaired but I wanted to present this lovely in full closure. The box is 5 inches by 5 inches. For precious keepsakes, like you this is the only one. See less
