I'm not sure but … Read more This side table is from the civil war era with original wood screws that attach knobs. I'm not sure but these seem to be original to the piece also since the screws fit perfecly into the knobs. The drawers are chamfered and dovetailed as well. There is a metal lock box on both drawers although I dont have any keys and they seem to be frozen shut anyway. I'm not sure if the finish is original but seems to be as it is worn on the drawer edges. See less
