Hand-signed, titled and dated on the back by the artist in black pen: olio su tela Painted Sculpture anno 2018 G.Lo Fermo. Perfect condition. Painted Sculpture represents a circular shape in the center of a total black background. The circular shape is divided in two parts: a central bright red shape surrounded by a blue shape. The work is characterized by the use of other metallic materials that are glued in the center of the red shape. This painting is deeply connected to the artists of Abstract Expressionism, such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman. Their creations are characterized by basic compositions with simplified shapes, sometimes with large areas of colors to produce a meditational response in the viewer. See less
