Beautifully hand-crafted from heavy-gauge tin, this six-arm fixture exemplifies classic 20th-century Colonial Revival artisan craftsmanship, reminiscent of early benchmark workshops. This is believed to have been the "Madison" chandelier made by Irvin's Country Tinware (currently Irvin's Tinware), based on construction throughout and overall composition (foil tag is not present). Indications that it was handmade instead of mass-produced are:
* Pre-formed Punching: The artisan must slide the pre-formed cone onto a specialized steel mold or a wooden anvil called a stake.
* Hand-Aligned Piercing: Using a hand-held chisel tool (or a manual foot-operated press) and a hammer, the craftsman strikes the metal piece-by-piece, following a template to pierce the slits and push the metal outward to form the raised louvers.
* Variation: If you look closely at the interior slits in your photo, you can see slight variances in spacing and angle—the signature mark of an artisan manually guiding the piece. This tactile process is impossible to convert to a high-speed assembly line.

The central conical body (with one light socket) features traditional crescent-shaped chisel-punched detailing that allows ambient light to filter through, casting stunning geometric patterns onto walls and ceilings. The punched pattern visible on the central cone is the "Willow" pattern, featuring a stylized weeping willow tree branch that drops gracefully down the sloped metal sides. The weeping willow is one of the most recognizable and enduring motifs in Early American, Pennsylvania Dutch, and colonial folk art. Historically, it symbolized longevity, resilience, and connection to nature. When the hidden central downlight is turned on, light blasts out through the dense arrangement of chiseled slits at the bottom. This casts a beautiful, sprawling silhouette of a weeping willow across the floor or dining table below.

Six graceful, sweeping flat-bar arms extend out to detailed drip pans with candelabra-style candle sleeves. The arms are masterfully stabilized at the base with heavy, traditional hand-soldered joints.
