A framed mid-19th-century Japanese woodblock triptych print titled "Lovers Separated by a Stream" by master printmaker by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III), which depicts elegantly robed figures in a spring landscape with cherry blossoms, flowing water, and a garden pavilion in a decorative gilt framed with corner accents. Utagawa Kunisada, who also worked under the name Toyokuni III, was revered by his contemporaries as the foremost print designer of his time.
