The broad double-lobed body is shaped by a beautifully rhythmic patterned weave, while the central handle attachment creates the distinctive sculptural silhouette associated with these historic utilitarian baskets.

At 22.5 inches wide, this example has unusual visual presence and works beautifully beyond its original purpose.
Place it on a farmhouse table filled with hydrangeas or garden cuttings, use it for folded linens or throws, or leave it empty where the warmth of the oak and graphic woven construction can be appreciated on their own.
