Elegant 22-piece tea, coffee and dessert service for six by Coalport in the discontinued Sherborne pattern, dating to 1986.
Made in England of fine bone china, Sherborne features a crisp white ground decorated with cobalt-blue bands, delicate gold garlands, floral medallions and gold trim. The tall, slender coffee pot and lower, rounded teapot both retain their original matching lids.
The service includes:
• Six 8¼-inch salad or dessert plates
• Six demitasse cups
• Six matching saucers
• One coffee pot
• One matching coffee-pot lid
• One teapot
• One matching teapot lid
Twenty-two individually counted pieces in total.
A beautiful and increasingly difficult-to-assemble service for after-dinner coffee, tea, desserts or an elegant luncheon table. Each piece bears the Coalport Sherborne backstamp.
