A vintage Italian gilt-wood wall mirror by Ethan Allen, distinguished by an oversized scallop/shell crest and scrolling foliate ornament. The rectangular mirror plate is surrounded by a warm gilded frame with beaded inner detailing and an intentionally aged, softly speckled finish.
Made in Italy for Ethan Allen, the mirror has a strong architectural presence while remaining elegant enough for an entry, bedroom, dining room, or above a console. Its shell and acanthus-inspired ornament gives the piece a distinctly European, classical character.
The mirror is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and variation to the gilded finish. Please review all photographs for condition details.
