The Slice collection originated from a 2007 design competition organized by Nachtmann in collaboration with Parsons The New School for Design in New York. Braginsky’s winning design translated a contemporary artistic vision into substantial German-made crystal, resulting in a collection distinguished by its fluid, almost carved appearance.
This approximately 10-inch vase is an especially impressive decorative object, weighing nearly four pounds. Its thick crystal construction beautifully captures and refracts light, while the asymmetrical stacked-ring design gives the piece a distinctly modern, architectural presence.
Equally appealing displayed empty as a sculptural object or used with a floral arrangement, the vase works beautifully in Contemporary, Modern, Postmodern, and eclectic interiors.
