Exceptional Mid-Century Modern lounge chair by Percival Lafer, crafted in Brazil from richly figured Brazilian rosewood and upholstered in supple cognac-colored leather. The chair features a bold architectural frame with exposed rosewood rails, generously padded cushions, and distinctive cylindrical leather armrests.
The dramatic contrast between the warm cognac leather and dark, beautifully grained Brazilian rosewood gives this chair a sophisticated sculptural presence. A highly desirable example of Brazilian modernist design, perfect for a living room, library, study, or executive office.
