A rare custom Gregorius Pineo Kepler chandelier, created as a sculptural composition of three graduated lanterns rather than the standard individual-orb format. The hand-forged, hammered strap-iron orbs measure 22, 16, and 12 inches in diameter and are finished in Gregorius Pineo’s official Desert Black finish.
The three orbs are suspended at staggered heights from a custom 22-inch horizontal support bar. The complete fixture measures approximately 36 inches wide, 22 inches deep, and 60 inches in overall drop in its present configuration. The large orb contains three lights, the medium orb two, and the small orb one, providing six medium-base incandescent sockets in total, each rated for a maximum 60-watt bulb. The matching custom canopy cover, chains, mounting components, original factory label, and original Gregorius Pineo hang tag are included.
The fixture was completed and wired in May 2016 for a private-client commission, but the order was abandoned before delivery. It was never installed in the client’s residence and has never been used as residential lighting. Model C8404-6451, Lot 28427. Offered with direct workshop provenance by a former Gregorius Pineo Senior Lead Finalizer who worked with the company from 2014 through 2025.
The original wiring and sockets are present but have not recently been electrically tested. Inspection and installation by a licensed electrician are recommended. Dry-location use only.
