The chairs have tall spindle backs, curved top rails, and slender legs, with warm teak grain throughout.

The shaping of the backrests is one of the nicest details, with broad curved rails above narrow vertical spindles. The armchairs carry the same lines through to the shaped armrests, keeping a consistent profile across the set. Seen together, the open backs give the chairs a lighter appearance despite their height.

All six seats have been newly reupholstered in black microsuede velvet, with new support straps and new foam. The fabric has a soft surface that contrasts well with the teak, while the renewed seat interiors provide fresh cushioning and support.
