Original oil on canvas. A signature is present on the lower right corner but it is difficult to read. Lacquered frames are included. Both works are in very good conditions. Beautiful pair of oil paintings with Italian subjects representing outdoor scenes. The first canvas represents several elegantly dressed ladies with elaborate hairstyles. On the background you can see the famous Rialto Bridge of Venice and a small gondola on the right, on the surface of the water. The figures wear masks: the Venetian carnival is a sumptuous and romantic event and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The second painting depicts a huge colorful wood carriage decked out in a natural landscape: a lady is about to get off the carriage supported by a page that holds her hand. In the background we see a countryside landscape and trees with rich green foliage. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
