Hand Signed in … Read more Maternity is an artwork realized by the artist Renato Ranaldi in 1990s. Etching and aquatint on paper. Hand Signed in the right margin and titled in the middle. Numbered in the left corner: 4/20 specimen. Good Conditions. Renato Ranaldi was born in 1941 in Florence. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, taking the painting course of Ugo Capocchini, with whom he graduated in 1962. In 1968, Ranaldi began his first film experience with Senilix, while in the same year his first solo exhibition was held at the La Zattera gallery in Florence, curated by Claudio Popovich. In 1994, the cycle of wooden frames of various sizes, often painted in the color royal blue, began, while in the 1990s the cycle of "sculpted painting" concluded. In addition to his constant exhibition activity, Ranaldi carries out intense editorial work and participates in the writing of many essays in art and literature magazines. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
