made from translucent ruby red pmma, the design transforms a rigid industrial material into an apparently fluid sculptural form. Its name — fazzoletto, italian for handkerchief — refers to the sweeping folds and overlapping surfaces that give the vase its distinctive silhouette.

this example is particularly notable for its generous scale. Measuring approximately 27 cm high, the large version gives massoni's design a considerably stronger sculptural presence than the more commonly encountered smaller variants. The translucent ruby red pmma intensifies the effect, producing changing densities of color and reflection as light passes through the overlapping material.
