The exceptional, graphic surface design is the work of the celebrated ceramic designer Bodo Mans. The design features a bright, characteristically textured grooved glaze, punctuated by geometric fields in the style of Classical Modernism (Mondrian style) in vibrant yellow, blue, and red. The base of the collector's item bears the stamped model number 501-14 and the origin mark "WEST-GERMANY." A prime example of the progressive design of West German art ceramics from the Mid-Century era. Condition: Very good vintage condition.
