The stools feature contoured, slightly concave seats made of molded plywood, finished with natural veneer in a warm, honey-red hue.

The seats rest on straight, slender metal legs in a light gray color. The design is understated and functional, typical of mid-20th-century European functional design. The stools are stackable, making them very practical as well.

Date: ca. 1950–1970.
Style: mid-century modern / postwar European modernism.

The condition is good, vintage, with visible signs of use. The metal legs have numerous scuffs, chips, and wear on the original lacquer finish. In our opinion, these marks emphasize the authenticity and character of the pieces and give the set an attractive, industrial look.

One of the seats has a small chip on the edge—visible in the photos. Otherwise, the seats have retained a very attractive, natural wood surface with a beautiful veneer grain and signs of aging.

This set works perfectly both as a set of four functional stools and as an element of interior design in the mid-century modern, vintage, industrial, or eclectic styles. They can also serve as additional seating, side tables, or display pieces.
