The vases combine glossy porcelain bodies with adjustable polished-steel coils, creating a playful interpretation of industrial springs.

Both pieces share the same spiral form but differ in size and colour. The steel coils can be raised or lowered by rotation, changing the height and appearance of each vase. This contrast of porcelain and metal reflects Ron Arad’s postmodern approach to movement, industrial materials, and functional design.
