Description:
Presenting a truly monumental and exceptionally heavy (over 21 lbs for the pair) set of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vases, crafted in the rare and striking "Double Fish" (鱼瓶) form.

The vases feature a vibrant, bright yellow ground, densely decorated with intricate hand-wired filigree (掐丝). The body is covered in continuous, deep blue fish scale patterns, centered by large, stylized green leaf motifs. The design is further enriched by auspicious red bats (symbols of good fortune) and swirling ruyi clouds. The flared bases are accented with a band of red and green lappet borders. Notably, the mouth of each fish features two functional, movable bronze ring handles (双提环). The vases rest on elaborate, matching light blue enameled stands with scrolling floral vines and cabriole legs.

Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The heavy bronze rims, movable ring handles, and stands show a natural, aged patina. Minor surface wear consistent with age. Please refer to all photos for exact condition. See less
