This is a wonderful pair of American mid-century modern two-tier step side/end tables blending classic traditional elements with French Provincial flair. Crafted from a rich hardwood finish (likely mahogany), each table features a distinct tiered structure that provides excellent display depth.
The highlights of these pieces are the original inset leather (or faux-leather) top panels showcasing elegant, intricate gold-stenciled borders. - These tables are in appropriate condition for their age and make, and can easily be used in as in condition. … moreThese tables are in appropriate condition for their age and make, and can easily be used in as in condition. However, if these are going to be placed in a high end client's home, there will likely need to be some restoration. The finish on the veneer has lifted in some areas. Using a good oil based conditioner calmed most of these areas down, but again, in a high end home, this might need to be refinished. The leather, which is the most concerning part of a piece such as these, are in excellent, vintage condition and shouldn't need to be replaced unless your clients are super picky. There is damage on the back of one of the legs. Make sure you look closely at the pictures I've provided of these pieces before purchasing. less
